We provide care in the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire, Shropshire and Powys.
SunCare was originally set up in 1998 by Carole Barnes, but in January 2015 changed to become SunCare Home Care Limited. In July 2015 we acquired Care 4 All, a Shropshire based care agency. The Registered manager is Carole Barnes RGN, RMA. Carole is assisted in the running of the Kington branch by Barbara Lloyd, our Care Supervisor and Karen Darby, our Care Manager in the Brampton Bryan branch. As Care Managers with both nursing and social care backgrounds, we have the experience and compassion to manage and meet your individual care needs. As a local agency in the heart of our community, this personal service is very important to us.
SunCare provide a high quality domiciliary care service through our professional care staff who are trained to Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
SunCare promotes ‘person centred care’. Your care and support will be customised through assessment, care planning and reviews being managed by Carole or Karen. Our main focus is to enable you to remain living in your own home by offering support, which enables you to be as autonomous and independent as possible.
We are able to provide care and support for adults of all ages, whatever your needs, so please ring us to discuss your requirements in complete confidence.
As managers, Carole and Karen aim to promote and demonstrate best practice by providing positive role models. Our person centred, flexible approach ensures we respond to your changing needs as they may arise.
SunCare are registered members of the Department of Health ‘Dignity In Care’ campaign, which aims to eliminate indignity in social care through raising awareness and inspiring people to take action. We put dignity at the heart of our service and give you support and direction to the care team with our extensive training programme.
